Guarantee Your Own Success

Did you know that you could guarantee success? Did you know that no one else, no matter how influential they may be,  can make you successful?  Did you know that you personally created the life that you are living, and that you have the power within you to change any and every area of your life? Isn’t that just A-MAZ-ING!

How is this possible, you may be asking?

Genesis 11 tells us the story of the Tower of Babel. The people had decided to build themselves a city, with a tower that reached the heavens. This way, they would not have to be scattered over the earth and they could make a name for themselves. The fascinating bit of this story is found in the Lord’s response to their actions in verses 6 and 7 (NIV):

The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them.  Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.”

Needless to say, their plans did not bear fruit! That aside, do you see the secret to your success in verse 6? The secret to guaranteeing your success is in your language! Note that the Lord Himself said that because they spoke the same language, all their plans would come to pass!

Yes, yes, I know we do not all speak the same language. But, you as an individual, you do have a language that is distinct to you. This individual language is what will determine the height of your success in every area of your life.

So, what is this language?

This language is 3 fold, comprising of your thoughts, your words and your actions. These 3 areas form your language. As long as they are in unity with each other, nothing you plan will be impossible for you!
